ESTABLISHMENT of EURO INFO CENTRE - YAMBOL

By decision of the Commission of European Communities - DG XXIII from the beginning of June 1999, the Yambol Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been selected for Host Organization of Euro Info Centre in Bulgaria and during August 1999 was signed the contract for its establishment.
The Euro Info Centre - Yambol is one of the eight such centres in Bulgaria and one of the 282 in whole Europe.
In the light of started accession negotiations of Bulgaria the Bulgarian Euro Info Centres take more important place on the market of information.
Close to enterprises
Euro Info Centres are genuine joint ventures, which link local organisations to the Commission (Enterprise DG).

Thanks to their integration within the fabric of the local economy, combined with the international dimension of the network of which they are a part, the Euro Info Centres offer an important point of contact for businesses. Taking account of the varying expectations of each enterprise, the Centres are able to assist them in their regional, national and European context.
